We cannot see around it there is just no point to fight it
even though the government tells us just to stand behind it
thats the way they try to bind us tie a rope and then remind us
even though the government doesn't even stand behind
and now you want me i don't think so

everyday they try to hide it
all they do is lie and slight us
they can't even get it straight
years ago watergate
sometime we just roll our eyes up pull the shades down
they despise us
how come the government doesn't even stand behind
