Peace of mind

When I came to think about all those wasted years
Don’t even understand how I lived my life?
Could I’ve unlocked the door sooner than I did?
It’s all in history, now I’m grateful that I live
I played with fire maybe much too long
I was hunting high and hunting low
For every little thrill
Before I reached the sign that made me wanna stay
Another sign of life was handed on a tray
Big choices begin
Turn all those questions inside out
And find that missing piece

We all need a place to hide when the world is rough outside

I needed more than this normal life could give

When I go back in time
