Night and the light

I don't know what to do.
i don't have a clue.
my life is alright but it's a hard fight.
the people around me are falling so far.
i wonder how far i am from their life.
my life ain't an easy road but neither is the other's road.
i wanna do right.
i don't wanna be in the night.
i see the light and it's bright.
it'll save me from the night.
i see people living in the night.
i wish i could get through to them,
that they need the light.
i've been on the edge of night
and being near it is a living hell.
that's why we need the light
i was saved from the night.
i am in the light.
when we stray to the dark we must run to the light.
run to the light.
