When i am all alone and all by myself
and i am with nobody else
i listen to my heart beat and see my soul sleep
until the morning comes
when i am all alone
i hear a voice say
love is deeper than loneliness
I sit upright in bed and look around my room.
who was that who said, "love loneliness"?
i know oscar wilde said,
"to love oneself is the beginning
of a life long romance."

I go to bed again and tuck myself in.
